Cliff Edge Pinot Gris
Wine
Mount Langi Ghiran Cliff Edge Pinot Gris is grown on a steep, east facing Grampians estate slope, known for producing fruit with high natural acidity. Pinot Gris was first planted at Langi in the early 1990s.
The fruit is whole bunch pressed to stainless steel tanks and racked off solids. Half the juice ferments in barrel; the remainder in tank. After fermentation, the wine stays on lees for five months with occasional stirring.
Pale straw green, Mount Langi Ghiran Cliff Edge Pinot Gris is vibrant with citrus and stone fruit flavours. Cool climate acidity lends texture and length. Cellaring potential is five years.
